Oriental Hotels Reports Strong Financial Performance with Significant Profit Growth in March 2025

Oriental Hotels has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing a notable shift in its performance metrics. The company's evaluation has undergone an adjustment, reflecting a score change from -6 to 13 over the past three months.
Key highlights from the financial results indicate that Oriental Hotels achieved its highest operating profit to interest ratio in the last five quarters, recorded at 9.18 times, suggesting an enhanced capability to manage interest obligations. The profit before tax, excluding other income, reached Rs 25.38 crore, marking a year-on-year growth of 45.28%. This positive trend is mirrored in net sales, which also hit a five-quarter high of Rs 132.53 crore, with a year-on-year increase of 23.31%.

Additionally, the operating profit, recorded at Rs 39.03 crore, and the operating profit margin, at 29.45%, both reached their highest levels in the last five quarters, indicating improved operational efficiency. The profit after tax stood at Rs 19.41 crore, and earnings per share rose to Rs 1.09, further underscoring the company's enhanced profitability.
