Panorama Studios International Reports Mixed Results for Q2 FY25, Stock Given 'Hold' Rating

Panorama Studios International, a smallcap film production, distribution, and entertainment company, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s stock has been given a ‘Hold’ call by MarketsMOJO.

According to the financial report, Panorama Studios has seen a flat performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025. However, there has been a slight improvement in the company’s score, which has gone from -4 to 2 in the last three months.


Despite this improvement, there are some areas where Panorama Studios has not performed well. The company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) has fallen by 49.7% to Rs 5.92 crore compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 11.76 crore. The trend for PBT in the near term is negative.


Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a decline of 36.3% to Rs 6.01 crore compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 9.44 crore. The near term trend for PAT is also negative.


The company’s Net Sales have also fallen by 18.7% to Rs 82.14 crore compared to the average Net Sales of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 101.04 crore. The near term trend for sales is also negative.


One area where Panorama Studios has seen growth is in its interest cost, which has increased by 36.13% to Rs 8.59 crore in the nine-month period. This signifies that the company has taken on more borrowings.


Overall, the financial results for the quarter ending September 2024 show a mixed performance for Panorama Studios International. Investors are advised to hold their stock and keep an eye on the company’s future performance.
