Paramount Communications, a smallcap cable company, has recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The company has shown a very positive performance in this quarter, with a score of 23 out of 100, an improvement from the previous score of 22 in the last 3 months.

According to the financials, Paramount Comm. has seen a significant growth in its net sales, which has increased by 40.98% year on year, reaching Rs 355.89 crore. The near-term sales trend is also very positive for the company. Similarly, the profit before tax less other income (PBT) has also shown a growth of 52.36% year on year, reaching Rs 26.83 crore. The near-term trend for PBT is also positive.

In terms of half-yearly results, the company’s profit after tax (PAT) has grown by 34.13% year on year, reaching Rs 45.63 crore. The net sales for the quarter have also been the highest in the last five quarters, indicating a positive trend. On the downside, the earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter have been the lowest in the last five quarters, at Rs 0.67. This indicates a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders.

Overall, Paramount Communications has shown a positive financial performance in the quarter ending September 2024. The company’s efficiency has improved, and it has been able to settle its debtors faster. However, the declining EPS is a cause for concern and something the company needs to address in the future.
