Paras Defence Reports Mixed Financial Results Amidst Sales Growth and Profit Declines in June 2025

Paras Defence and Space Technologies has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a mixed performance within the aerospace and defense sector. The company’s net sales for the latest six months reached Rs 201.42 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 23.37%, indicating a positive trend in sales. However, several key metrics suggest challenges for the company. The operating profit for the quarter was recorded at Rs 21.95 crore, marking the lowest figure in the past five quarters. This decline is mirrored in the operating profit margin, which fell to 23.55%, also the lowest in the same timeframe, suggesting a decrease in operational efficiency. Additionally, profit before tax (PBT) was reported at Rs 17.07 crore, showing a decline of 9.8% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Profit after tax (PAT) also experienced a decrease, landing at Rs 14.87 crore, which is 6.3% lower than the previous average. Furthermore, earnings per share (EPS) dropped to Rs 1.85, the lowest in five quarters, indicating a reduction in profitability for shareholders.
