Petronet LNG Reports Stable Financial Performance Amid Mixed Sales Trends in March 2025

Petronet LNG, a prominent player in the gas industry, has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company reported a stable financial performance during this period. Notably, there has been an adjustment in its evaluation, with the score moving to 0 from -4 over the past three months.
Several factors contributed positively to Petronet LNG's performance. The operating profit margin reached its highest level in five quarters at 12.28%, indicating enhanced efficiency within the company. Additionally, the profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 1,245.71 crore, reflecting a growth of 23.0% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 1,094.90 crore, marking a growth of 20.2% against the prior four-quarter average.

However, the company faced challenges as well. Net sales for the quarter were recorded at Rs 12,315.75 crore, which represented a decline of 6.1% compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters.
