PNB Housing Finance Reports Record Net Sales Amid Liquidity Concerns in March 2025 Results

PNB Housing Finance has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing a range of metrics that reflect its operational dynamics. The company achieved its highest quarterly net sales at Rs 2,021.85 crore, marking consistent growth over the last five quarters. Similarly, the operating profit reached Rs 1,888.64 crore, indicating a positive trend in operational efficiency, with an operating profit margin of 93.41%.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) also saw a notable performance, recorded at Rs 696.28 crore, which represents a year-on-year growth of 25.28%. Profit After Tax (PAT) followed suit, reaching Rs 550.38 crore, also reflecting a year-on-year increase of 25.3%. The Earnings per Share (EPS) stood at Rs 21.17, highlighting the company's ability to generate higher earnings for its shareholders.

However, the financial results also indicate some challenges. Cash and cash equivalents were reported at Rs 2,175.00 crore, the lowest in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting a decline in short-term liquidity. Additionally, while non-operating income reached Rs 14.93 crore, its sustainability may be in question.

In light of these developments, PNB Housing has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting recent changes.
