Puravankara Reports Declining Financial Metrics Amid Rising Interest Expenses in May 2025

Puravankara, a midcap player in the realty sector, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, with the announcement made on May 30, 2025. The company has experienced notable challenges during this period, reflected in its financial metrics. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs -132.94 crore, indicating a significant shift compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs -45.97 crore. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also shown a decline, recorded at Rs -85.82 crore, contrasting sharply with the average PAT of Rs -25.35 crore from the prior quarters. Additionally, net sales have been reported at Rs 541.57 crore, which is lower than the average of Rs 598.00 crore from the previous four quarters. On the other hand, interest expenses have risen to Rs 435.72 crore, marking a 24.26% increase over the preceding nine-month period, indicating a trend of increased borrowings.
