Ram Ratna Wires Reports Q3 FY24-25 Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses and Evaluation Adjustment

Ram Ratna Wires, a small-cap player in the non-ferrous metal industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The company has demonstrated positive financial performance for Q3 FY24-25, although there has been an adjustment in its evaluation, with the score shifting from 11 to 10 over the past three months.
The financial data reveals that net sales for the half-year reached Rs 1,828.47 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 25.63%. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) for the same period stood at Rs 33.27 crore, marking a year-on-year increase of 31.66%. The debt-equity ratio has also shown a favorable trend, recorded at its lowest of 0.51 times, indicating a reduction in borrowing relative to equity capital.

On the other hand, the company faced challenges, particularly with interest expenses, which reached Rs 14.06 crore, the highest in the last five quarters, suggesting a rise in borrowing costs. Additionally, non-operating income peaked at Rs 4.40 crore, raising concerns about the sustainability of income derived from non-business activities.
