Ravindra Energy, a smallcap company in the power generation and distribution industry, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending September 2024. The results have been declared on November 12, 2024.

According to MarketsMOJO, a leading financial analysis platform, the stock call for Ravindra Energy is currently 'Strong Sell'. This is based on the company's very negative financial performance in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025. The company's score has fallen from -28 to -32 in the last three months.

The financials for the quarter have revealed some concerning trends for Ravindra Energy. The net sales for the quarter have fallen by 35% to Rs 15.58 crore, compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters which stood at Rs 23.98 crore. This indicates a very negative sales trend in the near term.

The profit before tax less other income (PBT) for the quarter has also seen a significant decline of 475% to Rs -2.53 crore, compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters which was Rs -0.44 crore. This further highlights the negative trend in the company's near term PBT.

The half yearly profit after tax (PAT) has also shown a decline of 54.61% year on year, standing at Rs -0.24 crore. The company's operating profit to interest ratio has also reached its lowest point in the last five quarters, indicating a deteriorating ability to manage interest payments.

The debtors turnover ratio for the half yearly period has also fallen to its lowest point of 1.40 times, with a decline in each of the last five half yearly periods. This suggests a slowdown in the company's pace of settling its debtors.

In addition, the net sales and operating profit for the quarter have also reached their lowest points in the last five quarters, with negative trends in the near term. The operating profit margin has also fallen to its lowest point of 3.79%, indicating a decline in the company's efficiency.

Overall, the financial results for the quarter ending September 2024 have not been favorable for Ravindra Energy. The company's performance has been negatively impacted by various factors, leading to a 'Strong Sell' recommendation by MarketsMOJO.
