Sapphire Foods India, a midcap player in the leisure services industry, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The evaluation changes indicate a decline in the company's overall score, which has shifted to -11 from -9 over the past three months.
The financial results reveal that Sapphire Foods achieved its highest net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 776.83 crore. This positive sales trend suggests a robust demand for its offerings in the near term. However, the company faces significant challenges, particularly in profitability. The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter stands at Rs -1.80 crore, reflecting a substantial decline compared to the average PAT of Rs 8.64 crore from the previous four quarters. This trend indicates a concerning trajectory for profitability.

Additionally, the company's debt-equity ratio has reached its highest level at 0.92 times, suggesting an increased reliance on borrowing to support operations, which may impact liquidity. Furthermore, the Profit Before Tax (PBT) has also hit a low of Rs -8.62 crore, and cash and cash equivalents have decreased to Rs 78.27 crore, marking a deterioration in short-term liquidity.
