Saraswati Commercial Reports Significant Financial Decline in May 2025 Results
Saraswati Commercial (India), a small-cap player in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results, declared on May 27, 2025, indicate notable challenges for the company.The financial performance reveals a significant decline in net sales, which stood at Rs 7.24 crore, reflecting a year-on-year change of -92.67%. This trend suggests a substantial contraction in sales activity. Additionally, the Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter was recorded at Rs -28.29 crore, marking a sharp decline of -190.1% compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 31.42 crore. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) also showed a concerning trend, with a figure of Rs -22.95 crore, down -193.0% from the average PAT of Rs 24.69 crore over the same period.
In light of these results, there has been an adjustment in the evaluation of Saraswati Commercial, with the score shifting to -14 from -17 over the last three months.
