Seshasayee Paper & Boards has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing significant challenges within its operations. The company's score has experienced an adjustment in evaluation, moving to -21 from -19 over the past three months, indicating a shift in its financial standing.

The financial data highlights several areas of concern. Profit Before Tax (PBT) has been reported at Rs 7.88 crore, reflecting a substantial decline of 77.86% year-on-year. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) stands at Rs 15.43 crore, down 58.3% compared to the previous year. The inventory turnover ratio has reached its lowest point at 4.96 times, suggesting a slowdown in the pace of selling inventory over the last five half-year periods.

Net sales have also been affected, recorded at Rs 385.40 crore, marking a year-on-year decline of 8.72%. Additionally, non-operating income constitutes a significant 63.25% of PBT, raising concerns about the sustainability of the company's business model. The earnings per share (EPS) have dropped to Rs 2.56, the lowest in the last five quarters, indicating declining profitability. The debtors turnover ratio has similarly decreased, reflecting a slower pace in settling debts.
