Shalby has reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, highlighting its highest quarterly net sales in five quarters at Rs 296.43 crore. However, the company faces challenges with a significant decline in both Profit Before Tax and Profit After Tax, alongside increased interest costs and a rising debt-equity ratio.
Shalby, a small-cap player in the hospital industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results, declared on August 13, 2025, indicate a complex financial landscape for the company. Notably, Shalby has experienced a revision in its evaluation, with its score improving to -12 from -26 over the past three months.On a positive note, Shalby achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 296.43 crore, suggesting a favorable near-term sales trend. However, the company faces significant challenges as evidenced by its Profit Before Tax (PBT), which has seen a decline of 24.48% year-on-year, amounting to Rs 15.64 crore. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) has also fallen sharply by 43.0% year-on-year, totaling Rs 8.92 crore.
Additionally, the inventory turnover ratio has reached its lowest point at 3.41 times, indicating a slowdown in the pace of selling inventory. The company has also reported a rise in interest costs, with a nine-month interest figure of Rs 30.70 crore, reflecting increased borrowings. Furthermore, the debt-equity ratio stands at its highest in recent periods at 0.48 times, suggesting a potential strain on liquidity as the company borrows more to support its operations.
