Shiva Cement Reports Mixed Financial Results Amidst Rising Sales and Declining Profits in March 2025

Shiva Cement has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a complex picture of performance within the cement industry. The company's net sales reached Rs 106.34 crore, reflecting a notable growth of 21.8% compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters, which stood at Rs 87.34 crore. This positive trend in sales indicates a potential strengthening in demand for Shiva Cement's products.
However, the financial results also highlight significant challenges. The profit before tax (PBT) recorded a decline, reaching Rs -43.12 crore, which represents a drop of 21.7% from the average PBT of the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) fell sharply to Rs -53.22 crore, marking a decline of 110.6% compared to the average PAT of Rs -25.27 crore over the same period. This decline in PAT is particularly concerning, as it has reached its lowest point in the last five quarters, indicating ongoing struggles with profitability.

In light of these results, Shiva Cement has experienced adjustments in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed performance across various financial metrics.
