Shriram Finance Reports Record Sales and Profit Amid Rising Debt Concerns in June 2025

Shriram Finance has announced its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, showcasing record net sales of Rs 11,536.32 crore and an operating profit of Rs 8,473.98 crore. The company also reported significant increases in Profit Before Tax and Profit After Tax, alongside improved liquidity, though concerns about its rising debt-equity ratio persist.
Shriram Finance, a prominent player in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's evaluation, with a revision in its score reflecting the positive financial performance observed during this period.

The company achieved record net sales of Rs 11,536.32 crore, marking a consistent growth trend over the last five quarters. Additionally, the operating profit reached Rs 8,473.98 crore, also the highest in this timeframe, showcasing a strong operational efficiency with an operating profit margin of 73.45%. Profit Before Tax (PBT) and Profit After Tax (PAT) figures also reached new highs, at Rs 2,900.16 crore and Rs 2,159.44 crore, respectively, indicating a robust financial position.

On the liquidity front, Shriram Finance reported cash and cash equivalents of Rs 21,365.74 crore, the highest in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting an improvement in short-term liquidity. However, the company’s debt-equity ratio has risen to 4.15 times, indicating an increase in borrowing to support operations, which may raise concerns regarding liquidity.
