Skipper Reports Strong Profit Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025 Results
Skipper, a midcap company in the transmission towers industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a notable performance, particularly in profit metrics. The Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs 47.91 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 90.4%. This figure marks the highest PAT recorded in the last five quarters, suggesting a strong upward trend in profitability.Additionally, Skipper achieved its highest quarterly net sales at Rs 1,287.75 crore, alongside an operating profit (PBDIT) of Rs 123.65 crore, both indicating positive trends in revenue generation. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) also saw a robust increase, reaching Rs 53.62 crore, which is a 20.22% growth year-on-year.
However, the company faced challenges as well. Interest expenses rose to Rs 56.33 crore, the highest in five quarters, indicating increased borrowing costs. Furthermore, non-operating income reached Rs 9.07 crore, but its sustainability may be in question.
In light of these results, Skipper has experienced adjustments in its evaluation, reflecting the complexities of its financial landscape.
