SP Apparels Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025 Results

SP Apparels, a small-cap player in the Garments & Apparels industry, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing notable developments in its performance metrics. The company has experienced a significant adjustment in its evaluation, with its score rising to 7 from -1 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate that SP Apparels achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 399.21 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 35.27%. This positive trend is mirrored in the operating profit, which also reached a peak of Rs 54.24 crore. Additionally, the profit before tax and profit after tax figures were at their highest levels in the same period, recorded at Rs 33.23 crore and Rs 30.41 crore, respectively. The earnings per share also saw a rise, reaching Rs 12.12, indicating enhanced profitability for shareholders.

However, the company faces challenges as well. Interest expenses have surged to Rs 28.18 crore, marking a significant increase over the preceding nine months, suggesting a rise in borrowings. Furthermore, while non-operating income has reached its highest point in five quarters at Rs 4.23 crore, this increase may not be sustainable in the long term.
