Suncity Synthetics Reports Financial Turnaround with Improved Profit Metrics in May 2025

Suncity Synthetics, a microcap player in the textile industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results, declared on May 10, 2025, indicate notable developments in the company's financial metrics.
The Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six-month period stands at Rs 0.08 crore, a significant shift from the preceding twelve-month period, which recorded a PAT of Rs -0.35 crore. This marks a noteworthy turnaround, as the company has already surpassed its PAT from the previous year within just half a year.

Additionally, the Operating Profit Before Depreciation, Interest, and Taxes (PBDIT) for the quarter reached Rs -0.03 crore, representing the highest figure in the last five quarters. Similarly, the Profit Before Tax (PBT), excluding other income, also recorded Rs -0.03 crore, indicating a positive trend in the near term.

In light of these developments, Suncity Synthetics has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score rising to 4 from 1 over the past three months.
