Sundaram Brake Linings has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing notable shifts in its performance metrics. The company's evaluation has undergone a revision, reflecting a decline in its score from -6 to -15 over the past three months.

On a positive note, Sundaram Brake has achieved its highest dividend payout ratio in five years, standing at 11.41%. This indicates a commitment to distributing a larger portion of its profits as dividends to shareholders.

Conversely, several key financial indicators have shown concerning trends. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) has recorded a significant decline, with a quarterly figure of Rs -1.02 crore, which is markedly lower than the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) has also decreased to Rs -0.53 crore, reflecting a negative trajectory compared to past performance.

Additionally, the company has reported its lowest operating cash flow in three years, alongside a decrease in operating profit and operating profit margin, both of which are at their lowest levels in the last five quarters. The earnings per share (EPS) has also dropped to Rs -1.35, indicating a reduction in profitability. Furthermore, the debtors turnover ratio has slowed, suggesting challenges in managing receivables.
