Tarmat, a microcap company in the construction industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results, declared on August 14, 2025, indicate a notable shift in the company's evaluation, with its score rising to 12 from 10 over the past three months.

The financial performance highlights several positive trends. Net sales for the latest six months reached Rs 62.73 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 47.74%. Additionally, the operating profit for the quarter peaked at Rs 1.12 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters, while the operating profit margin also reached a five-quarter high of 4.49%. Profit before tax and profit after tax both recorded their highest levels in the same period, at Rs 0.58 crore and Rs 0.69 crore, respectively. Earnings per share also saw an increase, reaching Rs 0.34, indicating enhanced profitability for shareholders. Furthermore, cash and cash equivalents stood at Rs 9.83 crore, the highest in the last six half-yearly periods, suggesting an improvement in short-term liquidity.

However, the financial results also reveal challenges, particularly with the debtors turnover ratio, which has declined to 4.66 times, the lowest in the last five half-yearly periods, indicating a slowdown in the pace of settling debts.
