TCFC Finance Reports Declining Financial Metrics Amidst Challenging Operational Environment

TCFC Finance, a microcap player in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results, declared on August 6, 2025, indicate a challenging period for the company, with notable declines across several key financial metrics.
The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs -4.12 crore, reflecting a significant shift compared to the average PBT of Rs 2.01 crore from the previous four quarters. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also shown a decline, recorded at Rs -3.04 crore, which is markedly lower than the average PAT of Rs 1.68 crore over the same period.

Operating Profit (PBDIT) has reached its lowest point in the last five quarters at Rs -4.03 crore, indicating a negative trend in operational performance. Additionally, the Earnings per Share (EPS) has dropped to Rs -2.90, marking a decline in profitability and lower earnings for shareholders. The company’s liquidity position is also concerning, with cash and cash equivalents at Rs 0.34 crore, the lowest in the last six half-yearly periods.

In light of these developments, TCFC Finance has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score improving to -10 from -16 over the past three months.
