Tega Industries Reports Decline in Financial Performance, Raises Concerns Over Business Model Sustainability

Tega Industries, a microcap player in the industrial manufacturing sector, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The results indicate a notable shift in the company's financial performance, with the score reflecting a revision in its evaluation.
The Profit Before Tax (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs 27.68 crore, which represents a significant decline compared to the average PBT of Rs 54.01 crore from the previous four quarters. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) has also seen a reduction, reported at Rs 35.34 crore, down from an average of Rs 50.03 crore in the prior quarters. Additionally, net sales have decreased to Rs 356.09 crore, falling short of the previous four-quarter average of Rs 409.67 crore.

Furthermore, the company has reported that non-operating income constitutes 35.94% of its PBT, with the highest figure recorded at Rs 15.53 crore over the last five quarters. This reliance on non-business income raises concerns regarding the sustainability of its business model.

In light of these developments, Tega Industries has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the challenges faced in its recent financial performance.
