Tirupati Starch & Chemicals has released its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, showcasing a mixed performance within the FMCG sector. The company's net sales for the nine-month period reached Rs 299.99 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 29.94%. This positive sales trend indicates a robust demand for its products in the near term.However, the financial results also reveal challenges for Tirupati Starch. The profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stands at Rs -0.92 crore, marking a significant decline compared to the average PBT of Rs 2.03 crore over the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) has decreased to Rs 1.54 crore, which is a drop from the average PAT of Rs 1.64 crore in the prior quarters. Additionally, the company has reported a high level of non-operating income, which constitutes 130.98% of its PBT, raising concerns about the sustainability of its income sources.
