Transrail Lighting Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Rising Interest Expenses in June 2025 Results

Transrail Lighting, a player in the Heavy Electrical Equipment industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025. The company has experienced notable developments in its financial metrics, although its overall score has seen an adjustment in evaluation, moving from 21 to 18 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate several positive trends for Transrail Lighting. The operating profit to interest ratio has reached a high of 4.01 times, reflecting an improvement in the company's capacity to manage interest payments. Additionally, net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 1,659.84 crore, marking a growth of 25.1% compared to the average of the previous four quarters. However, the company is facing challenges as well. Interest expenses for the nine-month period have risen to Rs 157.25 crore, reflecting a growth of 20.02% over the preceding nine months, indicating increased borrowings.
