Trent Reports Strong Q3 FY24-25 Results with Record Sales and Improved Efficiency

Trent, a prominent player in the retailing industry, recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending December 2024. The results indicate a very positive performance for Q3 FY24-25, showcasing significant growth across various financial metrics. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) reached Rs 586.71 crore, reflecting a notable increase compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, the Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 497.25 crore, also showing substantial growth over the same period. Net sales for the quarter hit a record high of Rs 4,656.56 crore, marking a significant rise from the average sales figures of the last four quarters. Operating Profit (PBDIT) also reached its peak at Rs 841.93 crore, indicating strong operational efficiency. Additionally, the Debtors Turnover Ratio improved, achieving a high of 240.75 times over the last five half-yearly periods, suggesting enhanced efficiency in settling receivables. Despite these positive indicators, Trent's evaluation has undergone an adjustment, with its score reflecting a shift from 31 to 24 over the last three months.
