Vardhman Textiles Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Operational Challenges in March 2025
Vardhman Textiles has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a mixed performance within the textile industry. The company's Profit After Tax (PAT) for the latest six months stands at Rs 447.92 crore, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 24.14%, indicating a positive near-term trend in profitability. Additionally, net sales reached Rs 2,508.57 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters, which also suggests a favorable sales trajectory.However, the results also highlight several challenges for Vardhman Textiles. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) has shown a decline, recorded at Rs 173.17 crore, which is significantly lower than the average of the previous four quarters. This decline points to a negative near-term trend in profitability. Furthermore, the operating profit has dropped to Rs 286.87 crore, the lowest in the last five quarters, and the operating profit margin has decreased to 11.44%, indicating a decline in operational efficiency.
