Varun Beverages Reports Strong Financial Growth Amid Declining Dividend Metrics in March 2025

Varun Beverages, a prominent player in the Breweries & Distilleries industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company has experienced notable developments in its financial metrics, leading to an adjustment in its evaluation score, which has risen to 13 from 6 over the past three months.
The financial results indicate that Varun Beverages achieved its highest annual operating cash flow at Rs 2,966.94 crore, reflecting consistent growth over the last three years. Additionally, the company's operating profit to interest ratio reached a peak of 30.74 times in the last five quarters, showcasing an enhanced capacity to manage interest obligations.

Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 5,566.94 crore, marking a year-on-year growth of 28.94%. Profit Before Tax (PBT) also demonstrated strong performance, reaching Rs 949.75 crore with a year-on-year increase of 34.26%. Furthermore, Profit After Tax (PAT) was reported at Rs 726.49 crore, growing by 35.2% year-on-year.

On the other hand, the company has seen a decline in its dividend metrics, with the Dividend per Share (DPS) at its lowest in five years at Rs 1.00 and a Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) of 14.57%, indicating a reduced distribution of profits as dividends.
