Vikas Lifecare Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Sales Growth and Profit Decline in March 2025

Vikas Lifecare has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a complex picture of performance within the trading and distribution sector. The company's net sales reached Rs 135.20 crore, marking the highest figure in the last five quarters, indicating a positive trend in sales activity.
However, the financial results also highlight significant challenges. The profit before tax less other income (PBT) recorded a substantial decline, standing at Rs -26.33 crore, which reflects a notable shift compared to the average of the previous four quarters. Similarly, profit after tax (PAT) was reported at Rs -2.90 crore, also showing a marked decrease from prior averages. This trend suggests ongoing difficulties in maintaining profitability.

Additionally, the operating profit and operating profit margin reached their lowest levels in the last five quarters, indicating a decline in operational efficiency. On a slightly more positive note, non-operating income peaked at Rs 21.09 crore, although the sustainability of this income source remains uncertain.
