Vineet Laboratories, a microcap pharmaceutical company, recently announced its financial results for the quarter ending December 2023. According to the report, the company has seen a significant decline in its financial performance, with a score of -20 compared to 13 in the previous quarter.
One of the major factors contributing to this decline is the decrease in net sales, which fell by 36.2% to Rs 32.65 crore compared to the average net sales of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 51.21 crore. This trend is expected to continue in the near term.
The company's profit before tax less other income (PBT) also saw a sharp decline of 245.1% to Rs -2.34 crore, compared to the average PBT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 1.61 crore. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) also fell by 235.5% to Rs -2.07 crore, compared to the average PAT of the previous four quarters, which was Rs 1.53 crore.
In addition, Vineet Laboratories also saw a decline in its operating profit (PBDIT) and operating profit margin, which were at their lowest in the last five quarters. The company's efficiency has deteriorated, and its near term PBT trend is also negative.
Furthermore, the company's earnings per share (EPS) also saw a decline, with the lowest value of Rs -2.25 in the last five quarters. This indicates a declining profitability and lower earnings for shareholders.
Based on these financial results, MarketsMOJO has given a 'Sell' call for Vineet Laboratories' stock. It is important for investors to carefully consider these factors before making any investment decisions.
