W S Industries (India), a microcap company in the construction sector, has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The company's net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 39.67 crore, reflecting a notable reduction when compared to the average net sales of Rs 72.12 crore over the last four quarters. This marks the lowest sales figure recorded in the past five quarters.Additionally, the profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter was reported at Rs -3.22 crore, which is a substantial shift from the average PBT of Rs 2.46 crore in the previous four quarters. Similarly, the profit after tax (PAT) also showed a significant decline, landing at Rs -1.53 crore compared to an average PAT of Rs 0.62 crore in the prior periods.
Furthermore, interest expenses have risen to Rs 4.61 crore, indicating an increase in borrowings. These financial results have led to an adjustment in evaluation, with the score for W S Industries falling to -26 from -25 over the last three months.
