Yasho Industries Reports Mixed Financial Results Amid Rising Interest Expenses in March 2025

Yasho Industries, a small-cap player in the chemicals industry, has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025. The results indicate a complex landscape for the company, with notable shifts in its financial metrics.
On a positive note, Yasho Industries achieved its highest quarterly net sales in the last five quarters, reaching Rs 182.81 crore. Additionally, the operating profit (PBDIT) also marked a peak at Rs 32.87 crore during the same period, suggesting a favorable near-term sales trend.

However, the company faces significant challenges as well. Interest expenses have surged to Rs 45.19 crore, reflecting a substantial growth of 105.04% over the preceding nine months, which points to increased borrowings. Furthermore, both profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) have experienced considerable declines, with PBT falling to Rs 5.31 crore, down 76.62% year-on-year, and PAT dropping to Rs 5.03 crore, down 72.0% year-on-year. The reliance on non-operating income, which constitutes 33.87% of PBT, raises concerns about the sustainability of the business model.

In light of these developments, Yasho Industries has undergone an adjustment in its evaluation, reflecting the mixed performance in its latest financial results.
