Yes Bank Reports Mixed Financial Results, Highlighting Profit Growth Amid Challenges in Revenue

Yes Bank has recently reported its financial results for the quarter ending June 2025, revealing a mix of positive and challenging trends. The bank's Profit After Tax (PAT) reached Rs 801.07 crore, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 59.4%. This figure represents the highest PAT recorded in the last five quarters, indicating a strong near-term trend in profitability. Additionally, the Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) ratio improved to 1.60%, the lowest in the same period, suggesting a reduction in the proportion of stressed loans.
On the other hand, the bank faced some hurdles. The Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) stood at Rs -678.20 crore, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 29.07%. Furthermore, the interest earned was reported at Rs 7,595.88 crore, the lowest in five quarters, indicating a negative trend in sales. The bank's reliance on non-operating income, which constituted 163.15% of PBT, raises concerns about the sustainability of its business model.

In light of these developments, Yes Bank has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting these changes.
