Zodiac Energy Reports Strong Sales Growth Amid Rising Interest Costs in March 2025 Results
Zodiac Energy has reported its financial results for the quarter ending March 2025, revealing a mix of positive growth metrics alongside some challenges. The company achieved net sales of Rs 171.34 crore, reflecting a significant year-on-year growth of 60.69%. This marks the highest sales figure recorded in the last five quarters, indicating a robust near-term sales trend.Profit Before Tax less Other Income (PBT) also showed strong performance, reaching Rs 11.94 crore, which is a 60.70% increase year-on-year and the highest in the past five quarters. Similarly, Profit After Tax (PAT) rose to Rs 9.44 crore, up 65.9% year-on-year, again marking a peak for the last five quarters. The earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 6.25, showcasing improved profitability for shareholders.
However, the company faced rising interest costs, with quarterly interest expenses climbing to Rs 3.95 crore, a 51.92% increase quarter-on-quarter. This increase in interest expenses indicates a potential rise in borrowings, which could impact future financial flexibility.
In light of these developments, Zodiac Energy has experienced an adjustment in its evaluation, with its score reflecting recent performance metrics.
