Additionally, the NIFTYMETAL sector rose by 0.44%, with Hindustan Zinc contributing a 2.80% gain.

Conversely, the BSE Capital Goods sector faced challenges, declining by 0.70%, largely due to Cochin Shipyard's significant drop of 4.72%. The NIFTYPSUBANK and NIFTYCPSE sectors also struggled, with losses of 0.68% and 0.60%, respectively, impacted by Union Bank (I) and Cochin Shipyard's declines.
