The BSE CD sector managed a slight gain of 0.03%, thanks to Berger Paints, which climbed 1.39%.
Conversely, the REALTY sector faced significant headwinds, plummeting by 1.45%. This decline was exacerbated by Oberoi Realty, which fell by 1.96%, dragging down the NIFTYREALTY index, which also decreased by 1.29%. The NIFTYMETAL sector was not spared either, with a drop of 1.13%, largely influenced by SAIL's notable decline of 2.69%.

Despite the overall downturn, the NIFTYMEDIA sector stood out with a balanced advanced-decline ratio of 1.0, indicating a more stable performance compared to other sectors.
