The FTSE 100 fell by 0.35% today, continuing a five-day decline of 0.24%, despite a monthly gain of 3.48%. Fresnillo Plc led large-cap stocks with a 3.46% increase, while Coca-Cola HBC AG dropped 4.76%. In mid-caps, Spirax-Sarco Engineering Plc rose by 2.0%, contrasting with WPP Plc's 4.98% decline. Small-cap Cohort Plc gained 5.7%, while Vistry Group Plc fell 12.2%. The overall market showed weakness, with 141 stocks advancing and 229 declining, resulting in a challenging advance-decline ratio of 0.62.
