The mid-cap sector saw B&M European Value Retail SA leading with a return of 5.94%, contrasted by Babcock International Group Plc, which fell by 3.37%.

Among small-cap stocks, Microlise Group Plc stood out with an impressive return of 11.24%, while YouGov Plc faced challenges, declining by 8.63%.

Overall, the market's advance-decline ratio indicates a challenging environment, with 188 stocks advancing against 231 declining, resulting in a ratio of 0.81x.
