HBL Power System Emerges as Top Performer in Latest Financial Results

The financial results for the March 2024 quarter have been announced, with 51% of companies reporting positive results. Large cap companies have shown the highest proportion of positive results at 57%, followed by mid cap companies at 53%, and small cap companies at 46%. Top performers include Tata Motors in the auto sector, Inox Wind in the renewable energy sector, and Asian Energy in the oil exploration/refineries sector. HBL Power System, operating in the batteries industry, has seen a significant improvement in its financial performance, with the highest net sales, PBDIT, and operating profit to net sales ratio. Its PBT less OI has also shown significant growth, and it has the highest cash and cash equivalents and debtors turnover ratio. The trend over the last four quarters has shown a positive proportion, with 51% of companies reporting positive results for the March 2024 quarter, followed by 50% for the December 2023 and September 2023 quarters, and 48% for the June 2023 quarter.

In terms of market capitalization, large cap companies have shown the highest proportion of positive results at 57%, followed by mid cap companies at 53%, and small cap companies at 46%. Among the top results for each category, Tata Motors in the auto sector for cars has shown the best performance for large cap companies, while Inox Wind in the renewable energy sector has topped the mid cap category. For small cap companies, Asian Energy in the oil exploration/refineries sector has emerged as the top performer.

In the last 24 hours, 299 results have been declared, with HBL Power System being one of the top performers. The company, which operates in the batteries industry, has seen a significant improvement in its financial performance for the March 2024 quarter. Its score has increased from 37 to 40 in the last 3 months, and it has turned mildly bullish from bullish on 27 May 2024 at Rs 529.20.

HBL Power System has achieved the highest net sales of Rs 610.09 crore, PBDIT of Rs 131.50 crore, and operating profit to net sales ratio of 21.55% for the March 2024 quarter.
