Indian Stock Market Mixed: Mid Cap Stocks Flat, Top Gainers and Losers Revealed

The Indian stock market is experiencing a mixed trend today, with mid cap stocks trading flat. REC Ltd and D-Link India are the top gainers in their respective categories, while Avenue Supermarts and PB Fintech are the top losers. The banking sector is the top gainer, while the technology sector is the only one in the red. The BSE500 index is also showing a positive trend, with the BSE100, SMLCAP, and MIDCAP indices all rising. The Sensex is trading above its 50-day moving average and the 50 DMA is also above the 200 DMA, indicating a bullish trend. However, investors are cautious as mid cap stocks are not performing well.

The Indian stock market is showing a mixed trend today, with mid cap stocks trading flat. However, there are some notable gainers and losers in the market. REC Ltd is the top gainer in both large and mid cap categories, with a gain of 3.70%. D-Link India is the top gainer in the small cap category, with a gain of 8.11%. On the other hand, Avenue Supermarts and PB Fintech are the top losers in the large and mid cap categories respectively. Out of the 40 sectors, 37 are advancing while only 3 are declining, indicating a positive sentiment in the market. The banking sector is the top gainer with a 1.36% increase, while the technology sector is the only one in the red with a 0.28% decline. The BSE500 index is also showing a positive trend with 358 advances and 136 declines, resulting in an advance-decline ratio of 2.63x. The BSE100, SMLCAP, and MIDCAP indices are all rising, with gains of 0.57%, 0.51%, and 0.43% respectively. In the BSE500 top gainers list, K E C International, G R Infraprojects, and Tanla Platforms are the top performers with gains of 5.83%, 5.24%, and 4.12% respectively. On the other hand, PB Fintech, Angel One, and Chola Financial are the top losers with declines of 2.29%, 1.63%, and 1.60% respectively. The Sensex opened at 80,013.77 with a gain of 572.32 points (0.72%) and is currently trading at 79,950.10 (0.64%). It has also hit a new 52-week high of 79,950.10 today. The index is trading above its 50-day moving average (DMA) and the 50 DMA is also trading above the 200 DMA, indicating a bullish trend. Investors are eagerly waiting for the upcoming results of Le Travenues, Kesoram Industries, and TCS on 4th, 10th, and 11th July 2024 respectively. With the Sensex gaining 508.65 points (0.64%), it is evident that the market is being driven by positive sentiments and strong performances by certain stocks. However, mid cap stocks are trading flat, indicating a cautious approach by investors. Overall, the market is showing a mixed trend with some sectors and stocks outperforming others.
