The Nifty closed at 25,796.90 with a change of -13.95 points or -0.05%. It is currently 1.86% away from its 52-week high of 26,277.35. The Nifty is also trading above its 50-day moving average (DMA), with the 50 DMA trading above the 200 DMA. The small-cap sector is leading the market today, with Nifty Small Cap 100 gaining by 0.79%.

While large caps are trading flat today, some notable gainers in this category include Siemens at 4.34%, PB Fintech at 7.03%, and Hercules Hoists at 20.47%. On the other hand, Avenue Supermarts, Phoenix Mills, and Kamdhenu Venture are the top losers in the large, mid, and small-cap categories respectively.
