The index is also trading above its 50-day moving average (DMA), with the 50 DMA trading above the 200 DMA. This indicates a positive trend in the market. Large-cap stocks were leading the market today, with the Sensex gaining 0.79%. The advance-decline ratio across BSE500 was 287 advances to 212 declines, indicating a positive sentiment in the market. In terms of sectoral performance, out of the 40 sectors, 32 were advancing while 8 were declining. The top gainer was Nifty Infra with a 1.46% increase, while the top loser was NIFTYPSUBANK with a decline of 0.60%. Some of the top gainers in the BSE500 index were IIFL Finance (9.24%), JM Financial (8.84%), and Angel One (8.79%). On the other hand, Aster DM Healthcare (-7.26%), SIS (-5.56%), and Cams Services (-3.98%) were the top losers.
