The Indian stock market is experiencing a positive trend today, with 35 out of 40 sectors advancing and only 5 sectors declining. The NIFTYFINANCE sector is leading the gains with a 1.94% increase, while the BSE500 index is also reflecting this trend with 356 advances and only 142 declines. The SENSEX is trading at a new 52-week high and is above its 50-day moving average, showing strong growth potential. The BSE500 index is also reflecting this positive trend, with 356 advances and only 142 declines, resulting in an advance-decline ratio of 2.51x. The SMLCAP, BSE100, and MIDCAP caps are all on the rise, with gains of 0.85%, 0.66%, and 0.56% respectively. In terms of top gainers in the BSE500 index, MMTC is leading the pack with a 12.48% increase, followed by Castrol India with a 9.13% increase and FDC with a 7.22% increase. On the other hand, Chola Financial, PB Fintech, and Sobha are the top losers with declines of 3.19%, 3.05%, and 2.96% respectively. Investors are also keeping an eye on upcoming results, with Le Travenues, Kesoram Inds., and TCS set to announce their results on 04th, 10th, and 11th July 2024 respectively. The mid-cap segment is trading flat today, while the large-cap segment is showing positive trends. Power Fin.Corpn. is the top gainer in the large-cap segment with a 5.33% increase, while Castrol India is the top gainer in the mid-cap segment with a 9.13% increase. In the small-cap segment, Kingfa Science is leading the gains with a 20.00% increase. On the other hand, Ashok Leyland, PB Fintech, and NACL Industries are the top losers in the large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap segments respectively. The SENSEX is currently trading at 79,973.77 with a gain of 532.32 points (0.67%). It opened at 80,013.77 with a gain of 572.32 points (0.72%) and has hit a new 52-week high of 79,967.42 today. The index is also trading above its 50-day moving average, with the 50 DMA trading above the 200 DMA. In the last 3 weeks, the SENSEX has gained 3.86%. Overall, the Indian stock market is being driven by positive trends in the majority of sectors and caps, with the SENSEX reaching new highs and showing strong growth potential.
