Market Shows Mixed Performance as 14 Sectors Advance and 24 Decline

The NIFTYMETAL sector stood out, gaining 0.90% thanks to Hindustan Zinc's 2.31% rise, while the REALTY sector also performed well with a 0.73% increase. In contrast, the BSE IT sector faced challenges, declining 0.68%, led by Mindteck (India) which fell 4.10%. Overall, the NIFTYMETAL sector demonstrated strong market breadth, contrasting with the struggling POWER sector.

Notably, NIFTYMETAL showcased the best advance-decline ratio of 10, indicating strong market breadth within that sector, while the POWER sector recorded a ratio of 0.4, reflecting a more challenging environment.
