Large-cap stocks fared particularly poorly, with only 32 advancing against 143 declining, yielding a ratio of 0.22. Mid-cap stocks showed slightly better performance, with 57 advancing and 215 declining, while small-cap stocks had 381 advancing versus 1,366 declining.

Among individual stocks, Sumitomo Electric Industries Ltd. emerged as the top performer in the large-cap category, posting a return of 3.08%. Conversely, Fujikura Ltd. was the worst performer, declining by 8.94%. In the mid-cap sector, NS Solutions Corp. led with a return of 7.51%, while Tokyo Electric Power Co. Holdings, Inc. fell by 9.71%. Canon Electronics, Inc. stood out in the small-cap segment with an impressive return of 18.29%, while Renascience, Inc. faced a decline of 13.96%.
