In the large-cap segment, SoftBank Group Corp. emerged as the top performer, delivering a return of 5.69%. Conversely, NIDEC Corp. struggled, posting a decline of 3.55%. The mid-cap sector saw Metaplanet KK leading with a notable return of 10.09%, while Fuyo General Lease Co., Ltd. faced challenges, declining by 7.49%. Among small-cap stocks, Koa Corp. excelled with a remarkable return of 22.18%, while Toyo Engineering Corp. lagged, down by 9.88%.

The overall advance-decline ratio across the market reflected a challenging environment, with 1,599 stocks advancing compared to 1,949 declining, resulting in a ratio of 0.82. In the large-cap category, the ratio was more favorable at 1.08, with 91 advancing stocks against 84 declining.
