Sensex Climbs 263 Points, eClerx Soars 5.70% as Market Shows Strong Resilience

Over the past three weeks, the index has increased by 2.39%, indicating a sustained upward trend. Mid-cap stocks outperformed, with the BSE Mid Cap index up 0.46%. A favorable advance-decline ratio of 2.03x was noted, with 36 of 38 sectors advancing. Notable gainers included eClerx Services and R R Kabel, while Zen Technologies led the decliners.

Over the past three weeks, the Sensex has appreciated by 2.39%, indicating a sustained upward trend.Mid-cap stocks led the market, with the BSE Mid Cap index rising by 0.46%. The advance-decline ratio across the BSE500 was favorable, with 333 stocks advancing compared to 164 declining, resulting in a ratio of 2.03x. Among the sectors, 36 out of 38 advanced, with NIFTYREALTY emerging as the top performer, gaining 1.05%. Conversely, the BSE Healthcare sector saw a slight decline of 0.05%.
In terms of individual stocks, eClerx Services topped the BSE500 gainers with a rise of 5.70%, followed by R R Kabel at 4.89% and PTC Industries at 4.39%. On the downside, Zen Technologies led the losers, dropping by 5.58%, while SBI Cards and Supreme Petrochem also faced declines of 3.25% and 3.20%, respectively.
