The Nifty Midcap 100 led the market with a gain of 0.63%, while small caps traded flat. Among the top gainers, L&T Finance Ltd surged by 10.28%, followed by Swan Corp at 7.89% and GMDC at 5.98%. Conversely, Bliss GVS Pharma faced significant losses, plummeting by 15.67%, with other notable losers including Bharti Airtel down 4.46% and Clean Science down 4.57%. The advance-decline ratio across BSE500 stood at 235 advances to 263 declines, reflecting a challenging day for investors.
