Mid-cap stocks are particularly strong today, with the BSE Mid Cap index rising by 0.22%. The advance-decline ratio across the BSE500 indicates a healthy market breadth, with 263 advances compared to 232 declines, resulting in a ratio of 1.13x.

Among the top gainers in the BSE500, V-Guard Industries surged by 5.66%, followed closely by Newgen Software at 5.44% and Adani Power at 4.56%. On the downside, Tata Investment Corporation led the losses, dropping by 4.80%, while Tata Motors and Tanla Platforms also faced declines of 2.18% and 2.22%, respectively.
