Among the major indices, the BSE100 saw a slight increase of 0.01%, while the SMLCAP and MIDCAP indices experienced declines of 0.15% and 0.25%, respectively. In terms of sector performance, 20 out of 38 sectors advanced, with the BSE CD sector leading the way with a gain of 0.90%. Conversely, the BSE CG sector faced a decline of 0.65%.

Top gainers in the BSE500 included Data Pattern, which surged by 6.38%, followed by PG Electroplast at 5.99% and Ashok Leyland at 5.90%. On the downside, Cohance Life was the biggest loser, plummeting by 8.64%, followed by Endurance Tech at 7.69% and Cochin Shipyard at 4.85%.
