The advance-decline ratio across the BSE500 was robust, with 341 stocks advancing compared to 154 declining, reflecting a strong market sentiment.
Mid-cap stocks led the charge, with the BSE Mid Cap index gaining 0.6%, while small-cap stocks also saw a rise of 0.54%. Among the top gainers in the BSE500, Blue Dart Express surged by 16.39%, followed by Five-Star Business Finance at 11.48%, and Adani Green, which rose by 10.50%. Conversely, the top losers included Cohance Life, down 8.04%, and Motilal Oswal Financial Services, which fell by 7.33%.

In sector performance, 35 out of 37 sectors advanced, with the S&P BSE Utilities sector leading the way with a gain of 2.55%. The NIFTY Auto sector was the only notable decliner, down 0.68%. Overall, the market's upward momentum continues, with the Sensex gaining 3% over the past three weeks.
